St. Joseph Bowhunter Club Rules

Only 1 shot per person per target.

Anyone winning the Sportsman Class with a score of 390 or above is asked to kindly move up to a more advanced group. This class is set up for the hunters so they could have a chance at a trophy. This class is for the archer to use his or her hunting setup.  Archers may use most equipment with the exception on any power lenses. However if you choose to remain in the SC you can still shoot for fun, but not for the trophy.

Score cards are due at the check in at 3:00pm on Sundays. However the club has it's rights to extend the time limit in case of foul weather or an abundant shooter turnout.  The club reserves this right for extreme conditions only.  If you are shooting the IBO qualifier on Saturdays this rule does NOT apply.

Please be courteous to other shooters ie:(if you are a slow shooting group and there is a back log of shooters waiting on your group please stand down and let the other groups pass you).

Anyone caught deliberately damaging  a target will be asked to leave the course, pay for the damages, and NOT return.

Club members are readily available to help you or answer any questions you may have.  Most of us will be wearing our club shirts that are the bright safety green this year. A few will be wearing shooter shirts for Vic's but just ask anyone and we can get your questions answered.

Concessions are available at the sight in range.

We are a group of archers from the NW MO and NE KS area.  We get together and set up the 3d range and promote archery for everyone.  Archery is for all, young or old and any age in the middle. Male or female, atheletic or not.  Give it a try and make some new friends along the way.
